Conference Extreme Speech and Democracy

Are restrictions on extreme speech such as incitement to racial and religious hatred, glorification of terrorism and holocaust denial compatible with free speech in a democratic society?  This is the question that an international and interdisciplinary panel of experts will explore in this one-and-a-half day conference.
